Commercial Music Curated Blanket

We’ve been working closely with the Premier League through our partners over the last year on the development of a Premier League Production (PLP) Commercial Music Curated Blanket.

This allows them to access high-quality commercial music from GYROStream songwriters to enhance their Premier League content. We’re thrilled to be a part of this, and we’d love to include your music!

By pre-approving your catalogue for this opportunity, the Premier League team can browse and easily use music across their programming, increasing the potential for sports syncs.

We’ll be sending a bulk delivery within the next week, alongside monthly curated pitches throughout the season - including any new or upcoming music.

What does this mean?

  • Advance approval for publishing administration rights is needed for this opportunity.

  • Premier League will have access to a curated blanket library of music, allowing songwriters and rights holders to effectively make their tracks available for promos, montages, and in-programme uses.

  • The fee structure for the different uses can be viewed in our PLP Library Cheat Sheet. These fees are MFN across all tracks used within the pre-cleared commercial music curated blanket.

  • GYROstream will receive quarterly reports from the Premier League outlining which tracks have been used and which fee bracket they fall under.

  • Upon receipt of payment from the Premier League, the full amount will be distributed to you in our next available distribution cycle.

  • Be a member of your local PRO (e.g. APRA/AMCOS) –  HERE

  • Log into your artist dashboard or create an account HERE

  • Click on the Publishing tile.

  • Use promo code PUBFREE25 for free registration.

  • Add your songs (have your APRA IPI number and splits ready, and be sure to include all co-writers with accurate percentages).

  • For larger catalogues (12 tracks or more), we can handle bulk registrations - just email us at publishing@gyrostream.com.

  • For singles/smaller catalogues: register directly via your artist dashboard.

  • Once your songs are submitted, just email us back and we’ll add you to this initiative
